As the year comes to an end, we have taken time to reflect on what the past twelve months have meant for Boaz Studio. Running a small interior design practice means the work is deeply personal, and this year has been one of learning, refinement and reaffirming why we do what we do.
Over the past year, we have worked across residential, commercial, community and healthcare projects. We have also expanding into new sectors including gyms and golf resorts. What has remained consistent throughout is our commitment to designing spaces that are thoughtful, long lasting and rooted in their context. We have never been interested in chasing trends. Instead, this year has further reinforced our belief that good interior design should be purposeful, considered and able to stand the test of time.

Some of the most rewarding projects were those that encouraged open and honest conversations early on. We were reminded how important shared values are to the success of a project. These experiences challenged us to think carefully about material choices, lighting strategies and how spaces are used and experienced over time, not just at the point of handover.

Sustainability continues to sit at the heart of Boaz Studio as a daily consideration. This year, we placed greater emphasis on responsible sourcing and design decisions that support longevity, adaptability and repair. We also found ourselves having deeper and more nuanced conversations with clients about what sustainability really means in practice, which has been both encouraging and motivating.
One of the highlights of the year has been the people we have worked with. Collaborating closely with architects, consultants and clients who value thoughtful design and clear communication makes a significant difference to both the process and the outcome. These relationships are a reminder that the strongest projects are always built on trust and collaboration. We also welcomed Rose, a recent graduate, into the studio for a period of work experience, which was a rewarding opportunity to share our approach and support someone at the beginning of their career.

As a small studio, growth for us is about clarity rather than scale. This year has been about refining how we work, becoming more confident in setting boundaries, clearer in defining scope and more intentional about how we allocate our time and energy. Some lessons have come easily, others less so. All have helped shape a healthier and more sustainable way of working.
Finally, we would like to say thank you. To every client, collaborator and supporter who has trusted Boaz Studio this year, your support genuinely means a great deal to us. We are grateful for the conversations, the challenges and the shared ambition, and we look forward to continuing the journey together.
