Boaz Studio visited the sites to understand how the spaces were used and what was key for residents. This also meant we could see what elements needed to stay, how light worked in the rooms and how we could improve the quality of the atmosphere. Using the carpet as a basis for the scheme we then created three different schemes for each site.
The brief was to update the communal areas of two Hanover sites updating all surfaces and furniture.
We created three concepts for each site that pulled together wall coverings, paint, curtains and various options for upholstery fabrics that would work with the existing carpet. Images were created to help bring the moodboards to life and make it easier for the end users to visualise what the scheme would look like.
These concepts were presented on A1 boards for the residents to choose which scheme they wanted for their communal space.
We created three coherent schemes each very different to the other so that the residents would have significantly different choices.
We used Boaz Studio as we needed some help reimagining our lounge after moving in just before having our first child. Our house wasn't working for us and our toddler. Boaz Studio came in to advise on the complete refurbishment of the communal space here at Sunley Orford House, a purpose-built block of quality retirement housing in the centre of Truro. Having listened thoroughly to the design brief he provided well thought out advice on materials, colours and decoration with options that not only bring a more contemporary feel but will revitalise the space for the future. His thought and attention to detail was appreciated by all involved.

Boaz provided layouts and concept interior designs for our new home, and the results were fantastic: they managed to somehow provide us with something completely unexpected that was completely our style and what we wanted.
